And, don't forget the September Meet & Greet at Marina Jack's on September 12th at 6:00 PM. Read all about it on Page 12 of the Breeze. Welcome!!
As usual, we hope you enjoy this issue—and ask that you let us know if you have any suggestions for future issues.

Pops Orchestra - MOAA Scholarships
I met with the Pops Orchestra’s Executive Committee for several hours last night and they have decided to again donate 100% of the profits from the two veteran concerts to our Scholarship Fund this year. In addition, they have agreed to provide each ticket purchaser the opportunity to donate to our Scholarship Fund online.
I think this is very generous, given they are also a non-profit organization. The Pops have agreed to perform at Patriot Plaza in February 2020 and repeat the well-received patriotic Flag Day presentation on President’ Day with Vane Scott. We are considering two concerts that day, one for the school children early afternoon and on late afternoon. The Patriot Plaza performances will assist in revitalizing our American Flag Initiative throughout Sarasota County.
Onward and upward!
