Saturday 11 November Sarasota Veterans Day Parade 1000-1100
We are not distributing Support Our Troops (SOT) boxes this year, but that does not mean you cannot come out and enjoy the parade from the sidelines. Wear something identifying your Service Organization and don’t forget your MOAS Name Tag. Bring your own chairs.
1000 Muster in front of Breaking Wave Coffee, 1310 Main St. This location is near the end of the parade so you will only be a short walk to the Ceremony at J.D. Hamel Park.
1100-1200 Veterans Day Ceremony at J.D. Hamel Park, 199 Bayfront Drive.
1200 Group photo at Unconditional Surrender statue, across Gulf Drive from J.D. Hamel Park.
1215 Lunch at O’Leary’s Tiki Bar & Grill, 5 Bayfront Drive, Sarasota. Recommend you park in the lot at Marina Jack. This is a well-attended event so come early enough to get a good spot. Hope to see you there. Please let us know if you are going to attend.

Saturday 11 November Veterans Day Concert 1300 at Church of the Redeemer, 222. S. Palm Ave, Sarasota. Karen Olson asked that we advertise the below event which we did in the November Breeze. Chorus in songs of hope & inspiration during military conflicts from the Revolutionary War through Desert Storm.
