Feburary 14, 2014 Happy Hour 1700 to 1900
A good time was had by all at our MOAA Happy Hour at the O'Club at the Cafe Epicure. Hope you join us at the next one, which is scheduled for the same time same place on the second Friday of March 2014.
MOAS President Troy Scott looks a little fuzzy, probably from the trauma of serving as the Ring Master at the Circus. Photo below. OK, OK, a poor photographer. We better find a better one.
They have a convenient bar on the side of the restaurant. They sell lower priced drinks until 1800.
Time is 1700 to 1900. (5 to 7 pm for aviators, the little hand point to the 5 for ground pounders). We want to recreate the camaraderie of the O' Club that we enjoyed in our younger days.
Note that it is also Valentines Day so be prepared. You could take your significant other out to dinner afterwards or before.
No cost except for what you eat or drink - No Reservations.
We look forward to seeing you.
Join us at the O' Club

To All MOAS Members, because of our outstanding participation in the Giving Challenge in October and November, we have been selected to have a Guest Ringmaster at the Circus Sarasota Performance at 7 PM on 12 February. The Guest Ringmaster will be our own President, Troy Scott. All MOAS members are invited to attend with a reduced price ticket.
On behalf of The Patterson Foundation we are thrilled to have you not only represent your wonderful organization but also Legacy of Valor.
You have been a great partner and truly embodied honoring veterans, inspiring patriotism, and embracing freedom. This is an exciting, fun, and rare opportunity to promote your organization (in 3-5 minutes) and have your patrons, donors, friends, board members, fans, and stakeholders all attend Circus Sarasota for a fantastic and discounted experience, please purchase tickets ASAP by using the code LOV14 to receive $10 tickets by calling the box office at 941-355-9805. For more information about Circus Sarasota please visit their website at www.circusarts.org . Just a note that Circus Sarasota will be performed Under the Big Top at the corner of Tuttle Avenue and 12th Street.
As part of Circus Sarasota's partnership with All Faiths Food Bank they are requesting canned goods specifically for their Veterans program and with a donation you will receive a complimentary bag of popcorn, this would be good to promote as well. As you all know and have experienced this is a way to build connective tissue within your organization and beyond, reach many of your current and future friends, and partner with the Circus Arts Conservatory.
This year, MOAS is proud to be one of 100 community partners of Legacy of Valor, a campaign created by The Patterson Foundation that honors veterans, inspires patriotism and helps our community embrace freedom. Through the support of caring people like you, Legacy of Valor has been a wonderful way to honor the more than 100,000 veterans who live and work in our community.
