Dear Member--
The February 2015 issue of the MOAS monthly newsletter, The Sarasota Breeze, has been published, as well as a separate Reservation Form for you to use when making your reservation for the February Luncheon—on Friday February 20th at Michael’s on East. They were emailed to you. (Please note the luncheon price of $27 per person.)
The February luncheon speaker will be Dr. David Zonies, noted cardiologist who’s topic will be “How to Avoid Cardiologists.”
For those of you who have already responded to your notice to renew your membership for 2015 --- Thank you..
For those who have not yet renewed your membership, please submit your dues as soon as possible.
If you cannot locate your renewal application previously sent, we can send you another renewal form for you to complete.
Please mail your completed renewal form (especially if your address, phone number or email address have changed in the past year) and a check to cover your dues ($35) to:
MOAS
PO Box 1016
Sarasota FL 34230-1016
Please don’t forget to include your donation to the Scholarship Fund.
There is one more attachment ----- a Florida Council flyer describing a 5 night cruise from Fort Lauderdale to the western Caribbean (Belize & Cozumel) departing Dec 5, 2015 thru Dec 10, 2015 on the Independence of the Seas.
(There are NO MOAA activities---its ‘just a cruise’ --- with the Florida Council raising some money to support chapter membership recruiting.) The price is outstanding --- but you will have to act fairly quickly.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at our normal location...Michaels on East on Friday, February 20 11:30 AM---
And at the Sarasota Wine Club for a Meet & Greet on Friday, February 13 at 5:00 PM.
As usual, we hope you enjoy this issue—and ask that you let us know if you have any suggestions for future issues.
Thank you

Patriotic Skimmer Hats
Dear YAHOO's,
Patt Staley and I are in the planning stages for the President's Day Celebration at the Polo Match. We have been discussing the possibility of ordering some Patriotic Skimmer Hats from Oriental Trading.
I have attached a photo if the hat. The nice part is that it can be worn at any Patriotic activity and even to the beach. If we get enough people interested, we will order 24 hats. The cost would be $4/hat and any money left over would go in the MOAS Operation Fund. Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Carol O'Brien
