A good time was had by all the MOA Sarasota Chapter Members who visited the Manatee Port Authority today. Several large ships were loading or unloading cargo. The port handles substantial cargo and creates over 1700 jobs. The Port Authority is a government but does not levy a tax - it covers all of its costs with user charges.
