Social Media Plan

Social Media Plan

Military Officers Association of America - Sarasota Chapter

1st Draft

The Web site, the Breeze, and Email are how MOAA Sarasota currently gets out the word.  We have established social media that will augment and enhance our current systems. A primary focus of the system is to initially promote the 2013 Conference and to support the partnership with the Legacy of Valor Campaign begun by the Patterson Foundation.

The Blog sarasotamoaa.blogspot.com is the location where we will post all information of interest to MOAA members. This will include the articles from the Breeze, communications from National MOAA, other organizations, and notices and communications from the Board.  It is similar to the Web site but has more quick reports and photos. It is much easier and quicker to update than the Web site. It is sequential, with the latest events and reports at the top. It provides links back to the Web Site and The Breeze and our other social media and to the National MOAA social media sites.

The conference blog fcoc2013.blogspot.com will tell people about the upcoming conference. It contains all the information about the conference.

After we make a post on the blog we then post links on all the other systems with links back to the Blogs. We have established MOAA Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ accounts.

Most of the value in Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google+ will be attracting new users to MOAA and interest in the convention.
