Sarasota MOAA, National MOAA, and the DOD are moving into Social Media. This is a cheap and effective way to spread the word. Some systems promote interaction among our members.
Our Web Site, The Breeze, Pinterest, and our Blog serve mostly as a way to get the word out. They are primarily top down one way communication.
The other systems - Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google+ are designed to be more interactive. Our members and anyone we let join our page can post comments, questions, and photos. We always have the option of deleting someone who is abusing our trust.
