YOUR LOCAL CHAPTER WANTS TO CONNECT WITH YOU |
I want to take the opportunity to thank you, first, for your membership. More than 350,000 members choose to belong to the Military Officers Association of America, and your commitment to “Never Stop Serving” is clear. We are proud of MOAA’s 33 state councils and nearly 400 local chapters and satellites affiliated with the national organization. Together, they are making a difference here in Washington, D.C., and in their communities. To remain the most influential advocacy association for the entire uniformed services community, we depend on your membership and active participation at both the national and local levels. Joining a local chapter provides you with the opportunity to connect with those who continue to serve and leverage camaraderie for good purposes. Our thriving affiliates routinely support local ROTC/JROTC activities, provide scholarships, and support grassroots issues critical to their specific geographic location. Local chapters also provide significant community outreach. This past year, 22 chapters received monetary grants through The MOAA Foundation, totaling $79,000, to support impactful activities in their communities. I encourage you to join other MOAA members in actively participating to make a difference. Your local chapter is interested in contacting you via email to tell you more about what it is doing in YOUR community. To opt in to receiving informative emails from your local chapter, please click here or click the button below. Alternatively, you can call our Member Service Center at 800-234-MOAA (6622) and our Member Service Representatives will be happy to assist. Thanks for your consideration of this request and warmest regards! Lt. Gen. Dana T. Atkins, USAF (Ret) President |
